Truthfully, I can't offer much about how they are for the ordinary appointments as I've only been to this place once and it was during an emergency. However, I feel the need to give them a good review just based on that experience even though the outcome wasn't a happy one. I would glady go there again if it weren't for another hospital being located closer. It seemed like a nice hospital; the building looked newer and modern, it was clean, and had a decent amount of waiting space.
I rushed my rabbit around 1AM for an emergency when the VCA Northview was unable to take her in. Upon arriving at the place and getting out of the car, we were pretty sure our bun had passed away during the drive. So, unfortunately, I cannot offer an opinion on how their medical services are. However, they were very gracious to us in the short experience we did have together. We frantically ran into the place with the cage and told them that we were pretty sure she was already gone, but they took her in IMMEDIATELY without hesitation and offered to try CPR to see if she was still able to be brought back. The news was bad but the woman who came to tell us was great and handled an awkward situation well. They gave us the sweet gift of her paw print in a piece of clay that you could take home to bake and have as a memory. They also dealt with making the arrangements for her ashes right there that night. I thank them for being a comforting source during a tough moment and for being willing to take my pet in when another hospital wasn't available to.
