  • So on Monday I came here. I have had leg injuries for almost a year that I have been working through. My physical therapist gave me a couple places I could go to, to get my feet assessed, already knowing I was a heavy heel striker. Out of all of the places, I chose here. I couldn't tell you why. I just picked here. I guess if anything it would be the name and location that may have helped me pick this place. I worked with Mary. She was the one who assessed me and man was she SUPER helpful. They have you walk bare foot and take a video on what looks like an iPad. They watch it with you in a much slower version. Then they measure your feet to figure out your size. Then they go get the shoes. So the. I walked around in both shoes. A pair of brooks and a hair of new balance. They both were comfy. I ended up saying the brooks though. So then she had me jog on the treadmill long enough to take a video. We looked back at the video slowly again and the shoes definitely made a difference for sure. I ended up buying them right then and there. I'm not just buying a pair of shoes. I'm literally paying the price of my legs to keep them from getting worse or reinjured again. And just a heads up they work with several clients at the same time. I think it's just their procedure or how they do things so if you don't like the idea of that, then this may not be the place for you. But they are super friendly, the work as quickly as they can and they are very knowledgeable. Mary ended up telling me that my feet were tense. never thought that was possible. I was really impressed with this process. Which btw it took me like an hour and a half. I didn't mind that or sharing her with 2 other clients. It's worth it. ASK FOR MARY! She's awesome.
