This place gets packed -- And for good reason. On my business trips to the Phoenix area, I always stop in here. In fact, last week I went into Cherry Blossom two times: once for dinner and then also lunch on a different day.
They have an extensive menu with rice, noodle, soup and sushi dishes. Then there's a page for Japanese/Italian dishes. I end up being a creature of habit here.. I always get a bowl of chashu ramen and an order of salmon sashimi. If I'm extra hungry, I'll add an order of yellowtail sashimi too, then finish off with green tea ice cream.
This is a comforting cafe that has high quality, familiar Japanese cuisine with a little Italian fusion twist on some of their food. The prices aren't super low, but I don't mind paying the premium.
I always try to get here before the meal rushes. So I get in here for dinner at 6pm or earlier. If it's lunch, I come in at 11:15 or 11:30. If you don't plan accordingly... You'll be waiting in a freaking long line!
