  • I have been a fan of Monta for many years now, but as time has gone by I feel the quality of the broth has gone down as well. Maybe I over-hyped it in my dreams, but my last visit proved the broth to be less flavorful and just a so-so experience overall. No hate to Monta though, this is still a good spot for your standard ramen affair. The spicy tonkatsu was good too but it didn't have that tasty, porky, boiled-all-day, flavorful punch I was hoping for. With other ramen shops peeping out nearby, I feel like Monta's gotta step it up! Soft boiled egg is extra wuttt still? It is, guys. It is.
