  • As a chain I totally dig Pet Supplies Plus. The prices are good and they have the most expansive selection of food compared to other pet stores. The toy section is lacking for both cats and dogs but I mainly come here for food/treats. Er, used to come here. The service IS AWFUL. How can employees who work at a pet store be so pissed off and miserable all the time? The management sits in their window paneled cubicle doing anything but helping customers and the check out people could not be less interested in animals, humans or anything but their plans for after work. I really have no idea why most of them got hired in the first place. It's to the point where I will pay more for the same brand of food at a local shop to avoid going in there and giving pet supplies plus on Detroit the business. Total let down and annoyance because I dig the products, just not the people.
