  • My husband, granddaughter and I had a lovely dinner at Girasole last Saturday night. The food and service were wonderful, and once the owner and his wife found out that we live in Chicago and enjoy watching their son Vince on our local news station were were embraced as family! I had the NY strip steak and my husband had the salmon with mussel risotto--both were excellent with the steak and salmon cooked to perfection. Our granddaughter had the linguine with clams--also delicious. We would be happy to return to Girasole the next time we visit our granddaughter in Pittsburgh.
