| - I want to clarify this review is concerning the used car department. The new car salespeople were quite helpful. I came to heninger to try out a used Toyota solara convertible they were selling. I was concerned with a lot of chips over the hood and body that had been very poorly penned in. The first sales person was friendly and helpful, and assured me there was no rust underneath. He also said they provided 30-day warranty, and could get a few hundred dollars off. At some point the manager Byron came in and very unprofessionally reprimanded the salesperson, saying it is already discounted as much as it can be and there is no warranty. He was very rude and dismissed all my questions and concerns. I got up and walked out at this point, but they called back saying they would honour the warranty. So I returned that evening and purchased the car, but specifically told them if the car was inspected and had any rust anywhere or under the shot paint job that I did not want it. They were also supposed to fix the detailing. When I came to pick the car up, they pulled me right into the office and we finished the paperwork. When they gave me the key, I noticed the chips had not been fixed, and there were white specs all over the car. They again assured me they would fix it later that week. So I drove off, but pulled over to look and saw the paint was chipping off the car, and the shit paint job had lifted to reveal rust. I went back and demanded my money back. They tried selling me a new car. Lol. They kept saying "we can't do anything until later this week" but I stayed for a couple hours until they finally returned my money. Dishonesty in used cars is unacceptable. The car was discounted about $1000 after that, so there was obviously recognizable issues. They called me the next day still trying to convince me to take it. And later that week they called to book my appointment to fix the chips. So in all, dishonest, disorganized, and AVOID.
