| - Stayed here on a recent business trip. Overall, the hotel is fine. It could us a refresh, particularly in the public areas. It is in a good location, close to where I needed to be. In fact, the entire downtown area is very to walk which is a plus. A few details:
Room - small, but functional. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was OK, but again, pretty small. I was traveling solo, but it would have been impossible for two people to use the bathroom at the same time. Desk area was functional and the hotel has free Wi-Fi for guests.
Amenities - Lobby is spacious. We ate breakfast at the hotel's restaurant a couple of times. They have a buffet for $21 which includes an omelet station. This was a little pricey, but not out of the range of a major city downtown hotel. They have a small gym with 8-10 cardio machines and a few options for weights. There is also an indoor pool/Jacuzzi. As mentioned in other reviews, parking runs $30 a night for hotel guests. There is a small gift shop with amenities if you need them.
Staff - front desk staff was pleasant and attentive. We checked in around midnight and they still had 2 folks working the front desk that reduced my wait time. One day, I came back to my room at around 11:00 am and housekeeping had already been there. No complaints about the staff from me.
Overall, this is a typical major city downtown hotel. Decent, though small room for a fair price. Three stars from me.
