I only took the CPR and AED course and the instructor, Chris, was very knowledgeable in what he was teaching. I was in the Army so, the only experience I had with CPR had diminished over the years after getting out. As I stood over the manikin, I felt a surge of emotion rush through my body (Of course you're taking this course for all the what-ifs that could happen, right?), and tears began flowing down my cheeks. Chris reassured me that I was doing a fine job. As a mother of 3 young children, I felt helpless. I've blindly stuck my fingers in each of their mouths not knowing this is one of the worst things you could do if you do not see the object that is their mouth/throat. I'm grateful that I have not had to use my training from Semper Fi CPR, but at the same time I know I have refreshed and obtained life saving skills should I ever need to use them... Thank you for the reassurance Chris! You're amazing!
