  • Sadly I have to agree with others regarding this place. I live in Middleton and there are no full service car washes nearby except this Mermaid or Octopus downy by Shorewood Hills. I was needing a car wash and it was about 3pm. I wasn't going to attempt to go down University Ave so I asked my Garmin to find me a car wash. It led me hear. The prices are pretty similar. I paid 9.48 for basic car wash (10 with tax). There were two lines open and the wait wasn't too long. At the end I noticed some dirt on the drivers side rocker panel. I knew that I didn't get the full service wash so I guess they don't clean the whole car like another reviewer stated. I think I will stick with Octopus for full service or PDQ for quick auto wash.
