3 is perhaps a little harsh anywhere else but by the high standards of Las Vegas, this place was a bit of a disappointment. Firstly, it was a crime for a Wolfgang Puck restaurant to make a huge spelling mistake on their set menu. "Pre-Fix" as they called it rather than Prix Fixe. Wolfgang would be furious if only he knew. Sadly he has sold himself out these days and has too many restaurants to be able to spend any time at any of them.
I started with the Caprese salad which was the highlight of my meal. The mozzarella (or maybe it was burrata) was creamy and delicious and went well with the assortment of tomatoes.
I then had the "Tuesday Special" which was lasagna. It wasn't bad but I'd back myself to make one just as good at home to be honest, and I wouldn't charge over $20 for it either! The garlic bread on the side was nothing special either - again nothing bad but nothing you or I couldn't make at home.
If you want good Italian close by then head to Carbone at the Aria for some 5* food and service.
