The $21 sushi and sashimi combo for one was pretty good. The fish was fresh and the nigiri were well made. The california rolls were a bit sloppy -- but nobody cares about california rolls (it was flummoxing why they would put california rolls in the combo except to fill people up).
This place stands out as an oasis of decent sushi in this price range, in a city that is otherwise a sushi desert. The pricing is alright considering the landlocked nature of Pittsburgh and the lack of good competition.
