| - Unfortunate experience overall...
-Waited about 10 minutes for service. One man who wasn't our server brought us waters, said our waitress would be right over, and no one asked us if we had been helped otherwise, or even looked at us. Maybe 5 tables in the entire building.
-No apologies from our awkward waitress. Jumped right into the ordering. Seemed to know nothing about the menu. When I ordered a Beer by its name, she seemed confused. So I had to verbalize "IPA" and clarify what I asked for. It doesn't help for her that the traffic is so loud at night. Didn't seem to know a single thing about the food either. (Small menu... management isn't doing their part to make sure the staff knows the simplest things.)
-Late food. On the apps, there are flash fried beef pot stickers and steamed veggie stickers. When I asked for "one order of each, the veggie and the beef potstickers" I must have confused her. Had to explain that too, three or four times, and when they arrived, they were both steamed. Both disappointing in quality, and came AFTER our dinner.
- Food quality of the ramen, soba, AND egg noodles... I hate sounding rude but my top ramen creations at home are way better and a little cheaper.
- A kind but also strange interaction with a cook after everything was finished. I really appreciate her trying to improve the experience and get feedback, but she was also not helping the cause after a few minutes. Good for her for trying, though! Just wanted to leave at this point and had to ask for the check a couple of times.
-Desert was poor, but that's just personal taste. Green tea ice cream and a little sesame friend ball thingy. Waitress didn't know what it was either lol.
-Little things. Bus tub set on our table, gross. Paid $1 or $2 for cabbage and got a single small leaf?! And all the condiments still had original lids that you had to peel off. Nice that they're new, not nice having to unscrew and recap everything.
