I was taken here by ambulance this evening. I have two herniated discs and injured myself playing basketball. I am unable to walk even a few steps at this point. All went well until they told me my symptoms do not allow me to get an MRI. They were concerned it wouldn't be covered by insurance. The only way I am going to resolve this problem is by getting an MRI. I have insurance and the Dr could have put it through and ordered the MRI. Instead they give me pain medication and discharged me. Now I came here by ambulance and cannot walk. So here I am left to figure out how I am going to get up my stairs at my place. I also tell the Dr once I get approved for an MRI through a surgeon, how I am suppose to get to the facility to get this done since I can't walk under my own power. He tells me the pain meds should help. The pain meds do not help when the disc is pressing on the nerve. The pain is unbearable. I know this because I have already had one surgery. The hospital I went to in San Diego got me the MRI immediately and we had the answers the next day and surgery within a week. It took my fiance and I 40 minutes to get me up one flight of stairs tonight and now the pain is even worse. Complete waste of time and I still have no answers. Horrible emergency room.

Provided them with all my contact information in response to my concerns. From the other reviews I read, they claim they are going to look into your situation and will contact you but never contact any of the patients. Let's see if they even reach out. To be continued.
