  • David R.'s review & comments could not be truer, I second every word! My experience at Republic of Hair could not have been more perfect for a spur of the moment decision (walk-in). They're incredibly accomodating and everything about the the salon is lovely -- the decor, the stylists, the service, the products, the atmosphere... Worth every penny (very reasonably, too)!! If your salon style is quaint + personable, vs industrial size, assembly-line styling like many salons in the city can be, then Republic of Hair is the place to go. An added bonus: Kayon & Co beauty studio inside the salon is a hidden gem. Kayon herself is superb -- an honest, friendly, helpful, and charming young woman. I'm so excited to make Republic of Hair my new regular salon/spa after a long search for one well worth it in Toronto.
