  • Best Hefeweizen and Fried Cheese curds ever! So the Penn Weizen beer here is phenomenal. Light but flavorful and just a very refreshing beer. The winner here is the fried cheese curds. I was blown out of the water with how great these darn things were! The batter/breading was VERY light but VERY crunchy and salty which was amazing. The cheese curds themselves were squeaky, melted and oooooooooo soooooo good. Were also ordered the Sweet Sriracha Wings and Pomme-Frites. The Pomme-Frites (Fries with chili, bacon, sour cream, cheese and scallions) were disappointing. THey were smothered which was good but bad. The fries turned to mush (did not hold up to the chili) but the chili was decent, not great, but decent. The Wings, ehhhh I've had better and for the price I wouldn't get them again. The wings weren't that big in size and the sauce, while okay, needed a bit more sauce. When i hear sriracha I expect to be punched in the mouth a bit lol, more sweet than spice. Overall though, I'd stop in for the beer and curds any day which is why this place gets 5 stars, after all they are a brewery!
