  • Soooooo....we ended up staying here through hotwire; and I didn't know how to feel when the name came up on the screen after we paid. It had nothing to do with being political, just a thought of, ' they will either be happy or pissed post the election', which is when we checked in. So yeah, election was Tuesday and we checked in Friday. Ironically I didn't feel too weird checking in. The check in staff (which was diverse) was pleasant and they put ya girl on the 52nd floor facing the strip and the hotel, room and other staff was very nice. Being in crazy Vegas, I liked how they had security at the elevators...so no guest, no entrance. It's located directly across the street from the mall, so the location was cool to me...and it was overall just good. There was a protest the Saturday we were there and it did give us an 'I ain't going out there right now' feeling, but it was peaceful. But yeah, very nice hotel....
