  • After reading reviews I was very hesitant to try the new Hecks Cafe in Avon. But we were pleasantly surprised with good food, excellent service and the kitchen did a very good job in preparing our delicious meal in a timely way. But, the noise issue is still a big problem. That is the only thing that would keep me from coming back. Our server said the owner intends to fix that. Hope so. I don't understand why the high noise level is so popular with restaurant designers. Maybe they are all deaf. I understand it discourages campers, but it makes the dining experience very uncomfortable for everyone.
