| - I wanted to add some clarification since I refuse to let the business' response make it seem like I'm making this review up or lying about certain things:
1) I did donate with you and you can gladly reach out to me via Yelp message if you'd like to discuss further.
2) I was told that I had over 20 eggs retrieved from me, so still quite a high number.
3) Your compensation is not comparable to the industry. You guys need to do some market research if you think that is the case. Fairfax Egg Bank, Donor Egg Bank USA, PFC SF, and My Egg Bank all pay more than the World Egg Bank.
4) I sure hope TWEB wouldn't charge the donor for screening and testing considering you don't even provide the screening and testing results to the donor.
5) Donors are welcome to have anyone review their contract? Umm, like who? TWEB should actually provide donors with legal counsel like other agencies do. Unless what they are implying here is that donors should have to pay out of pocket and find their own attorney to review their contract.
6) I was made to sign a different contract in person than what I had signed prior to starting the cycle anyway.
7) I found out I was carrier for genetic diseases when I did additional testing AFTER donating. But since TWEB claims they do not have medical record to provide, I guess there's nothing for me to update. This is unfortunate because whoever is receiving my eggs deserves to know what diseases I carry beyond what TWEB screened for.
8) I understand that donating is not treating a medical condition. But if you claim to value your donors so much, that you are concerned about "most importantly the donors health," why can't TWEB do the right thing by providing donors with the results of their testing and screening? Testing and screening is not treatment. I get that. But it does provide insight on the current status of their health and fertility. Documentation of the number of eggs retrieved or the dosages of medications taken or the results of a urinalysis... why do you have to be so crappy as to not give this to donors afterwards? All I wanted was this documentation, which I know you have, to have my gynecologist look over when I started having some issues after donating. Instead, TWEB's protection of their "proprietary property" took precedent over a donor's health post-donation. Where is TWEB's altruism? Where was your concern over my health?
