  • I purchased a 3 shellac mani-pedi with hot wax treatment. On the first appointment, the technician spilled the entire hot wax bowl onto my pants. It didn't' burn me, but goodbye office pants. No offer for a refund or compensation from the salon manager who was too vacuous to understand the concept of liability. The shellac manicure peeled off my nails the next day. I did not go for a replacement for the first mani, since its a bit far from my workplace and I thought oh well, by now I should know that anything I buy off Buytopia is bad quality. I gave it a second go some time later, and the second time the shellac manicure peeled off two days later. I never went back for the third appointment, what's the point, after all, when you use Buytopia you get what you pay for.
