  • So... the MGM charges for parking? I live in Henderson and my friends told me to meet them at the MGM because they were in the area. I pull up to the self parking structure for MGM only to find out that they charge $0 for under 1 hour, $7 for up to 3 or 4 hours (?) and $10 for up to 24 hours. The parking attendant by the ticket dispenser told me that if I was a local, I could park for free. I told him I live in Henderson for med school, but still have California plates/license because I go back and forth. He then told me that I can run to the check in counter and they should be able to validate the parking ticket for me. When I get to the check in counter, they tell me that there is nothing they can do. Their advice was that I should sweet talk the parking attendant to let me out for free...GTFOH
