  • Bachannal. The quintessential. I love the ambiance here. The woods, the glass, the extensive extensive food counters. Oh, it's a high-end buffet, and a price to match. GOOD - lamb - chicken sausage - cioppino - mussels in sauce - tri-tip - shrimp cocktail - truffle pizza - garlic bread - gelato OKAY - bone marrow (need something to spread it on) - grilled octopus (meh cooking) - mussels (meh quality at best) - american wagyu - soft-shell crab - macarons - horchata (kinda milky, though it was fine) BAD - most of the asian food =D - the sushi - poke - oyster shooter - potato gnocchi The guy sitting next to us was on his phone the entire time (he was lone, but chatting on calls). When he left, a lesbian couple was seated next to us....and the waiter called one of the girls 'sir'. Oh boy. But otherwise, the service was pretty good.
