All over Vegas you will find restaurants attached to celebrity chefs for every type of food. Some are wonderful. Unfortunately, many are not. Emerils Fish House falls in that second category.
Let's start with the good. We had wonderful service. A team of three servers worked with us to ensure we would make our show.
The food was the problem.
We ordered the New Orleans shrimp and crab cake to share as appetizers.
The shrimp was weak for something that should have been spectacular. Compared to Dickie B's in NOLA it was embarrassing. To top it off, It was lukewarm in temperature.
The crab cake was cold. Immediately, they took it back and brought a hot replacement. It had wonderful lump crab meat. Other than that, it tasted average at best. Not your typical crab cake.
We split a Caesar salad. It was a romaine heart cut in half. A quarter of my end was the core - inedible. Not very good.
For our main course my lady had fresh fish. Wasn't impressed. I had pasta that had no taste.
Had wine by the glass. Average.
