| - Hello, I was at your salon yesterday to get my one year old head shaved . We were the last ones in the store and came in around 5:40pm. Our stylist was dee, I think that was her name or something that started with D. She took clippers without a guard and started to shave my son's head, she had no clue what she was doing and nipped him at 3 different spots . My son at this point was crying non stop but dee wouldn't stop, when my husband noticed that my son was nipped the stylist said it's apparently normal and did not stop.
It's only when my husband and I told her that we are not comfortable with her way of handling my child and wanted someone else that she stopped. Please note that at no point did she apologize all she said was this is normal. When we asked for another hairstylist a young lady with medium length hair took over ( I can't remember her name) and did her best with what was a super duper Cranky baby and paranoid parents by now, to this young lady who took over, I want to say thank you, you did an amazing job in a very very difficult situation. To the stranger who stayed back to make sure my son wasn't hurt anymore even though she had 2 young kids of her own , thank you! You were God sent.
To the pigtails and crewcuts management , please make sure that your staff is well trained with handling kids. It was only when the second stylist took over were we told that clippers should never be used directly , a guard should always be used and I think there were different instruments for toddlers , dee used adult clippers with no guard and was very dismissive of what she had done to a child. For this reason, I'm not going to return to your salon but I hope you train your staff adequately going forward so no other kid goes through what my son went through .i have posted the same on your fb page
Thank you
