Happy Khmer New Year 2016! I thought I'd be the first to write a review of this temple (wat). I went to Cambodia a few years back and after seeing the beautiful temples and pagodas, I expected more in regards to architecture. Call me new school, but converting a house into a temple doe not give me the authentic temple experience. This temple is just that, a house converted into a temple. I've been here once prior for Khmer New Year a few years back and the event was a great time. I never had a bad experience there, but the place is not aesthetically pleasing. Usually, when you donate money or offer money for blessings, this money is used to renovate or even expand the property. It's been more than 5 years since I have returned and it looks the same. In Arizona in general, there are not a lot of temples to visit and I have yet to find one that have left me in awe.
