  • Oh man. So good. Everyone talks about Fig Tree, so my wife and I had to check it out. We went there to celebrate her 31st trip around the sun and what a celebration it was! She is not a huge fan of seafood, so any time we go somewhere that I can get fresh seafood I'm on it. I had the sautéed NC trout with crab meat, granny smith apples (also sautéed), and asparagus. DEE-LISH-US. The sautéed apples gave it a great flavor and the fish was melt-in-your-mouth. I'm not a huge fan of asparagus, but it was better than expected as well. To drink, I had the "Thirst And How", a spin on the Old Fashioned. Very good, but a little strong for my taste. Overall a great dining experience and great for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary. Definitely lives up to the hype.
