| - Coronado Park is a great place, and seems pretty popular. I've only spent time on the tennis courts, so can't really give much feedback for other parts of the park.
I wouldn't host a Grand Slam at these courts, but as far as outdoor, public tennis courts go, I would say they're pretty well-maintained. Not too many chips and nicks, and there hasn't been any trash lying around on the court. The courts are lit (there's a button on one of the light poles), which is awesome! It takes a couple minutes for the lights to warm up, they are more than sufficient once they get going.
I went last night around 9pm, and it seemed like a pretty safe spot. There were lots of people, some families, and all in all, good vibes. There were a couple people smoking weed and cigarettes, so if that that bothers you, maybe try to go earlier in the day when there are less people socializing there.
Parking is also pretty easy too!
