  • Visited here on a Friday night to see David Guetta. Bought tickets through Concierge while staying at Encore. You get VIP entry if you arrive before 11pm. Even though we arrived about 10:50pm, still had to wait about 5 minutes before we were let in. Grabbed a couple drinks at the bar. Service was fast & friendly. Headed to dance floor. DJ prior to Guetta was only OK; hence, the 3 star rating. As for David Guetta, after 2 1/2 hours on the dance floor, the floor was PACKED and there were 3 bouncers at the entrance to the dance floor blocking any entry. We were totally thirsty, but knew if we left, we weren't getting back on the floor. Plus, David Guetta still wasn't "performing" at 1:40am; we saw Lil Jon a few months ago at Surrender and he started his set at about 12-12:30am. So we gave up and left without seeing him (I'll have another chance at Coachella). We had an awesome experience at Light years ago without a big name DJ and I guess that set the standard. Still looking for another 5 star experience.
