  • I would say 3.5, but a -.5 because they charge .50 cents for water. Seriously? I could be totally off and maybe this is quite common in Vegas, but this is the first time I was charged for tap water at Vegas. Grrrr.... Anyway, we stopped by for some light bites. The chicken and steak quesadillas were good, but nothing out of the ordinary. I ordered the fresh fruit sangria which happened to be blueberries and raspberries that day. It was super carbonated and tasted like a fizzy blueberry soda, but maybe you like your sangria like that. I don't. Plus, they do not offer pitchers. Goodness, of all places in the world, why must you not have pitchers? My favorite of the night was the Watercress, Avocado, and Orange salad that came with bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo and blue cheese. It was sinful I tell you. The salad was light and delicious and balanced out the heaviness of the bacon wrapped dates very nicely. Just for the salad, I might forgive you Border Grill for the whole water fiasco, but I won't forget.
