My office manager told me to take my late grandmother's jewels to these guys for appraisal and to know what I had. I knew I had a diamond ring but had been told it was really "poor quality" (by people who wanted to buy it obviously). I made an appointment and can tell you in the most sincere way, you will not find more honest jewellers anywhere.
Dave advised me of the difference between a written insurance appraisal and an appraisal for me to know what I had on my hands. He was thorough and honest. My grandmother's ring was not only not a piece of garbage, but he had the perfect opportunity to up sell me as I was considering a necklace and fixing it but he explained a bit about the history (I knew a bit but he shed more light on it) and in the end I walked out with a very sentimental piece of jewellery intact and rightfully staying in our family (it has been since the 1800's and survived the Nazis). This is why my grandmother left these things to me of all her granddaughters, so I would do what was right and without a doubt I found the people who helped me do what was right.
If you have any needs, I cannot recommend these guys any higher than I do, they get my discerning 5 stars of approval.
