  • This was my second visit to GVR, and it won't be the last. Why? The people here are amazing, no matter where you are in what may well be the most peaceful resort in all of Nevada. From the warm welcome I received from Diane T. at the front desk to the smiles and "good mornings" from the housekeeping team in the hallways (they do a wonderful job with the five-star rooms, by the way), the casino bartenders and especially Karen, my incredible server at the pool. Oh, and two thumbs way way up to the airport shuttle driver, who's a lot of fun (and I wish I had written down her name). She got a big kick out hearing about my Taco Tuesday adventure at the resort's new Mexican restaurant Barracho, which is an amazing and tasty deal!
