  • What used to be a hotel/casino that I would never visit as the Imperial Palace, the Linq has definitely added value to the property here. The hotel rooms are not large and have very little closet space and drawers, but seriously, if you are spending most of your time in Vegas in the room you are doing it wrong anyway. Things I didn't like were no moisturizer, which in the dry air in Vegas is a must and very uncomfortable pillows in my opinion. The casino was ok, but the great part if you are into the college party scene is O'Sheas Casino is attached and has live music every night and beer pong. Of course, if you prefer more quiet casino, the Linq is not it because of this. It is VERY accessible to the Monorail, with less than a 5 min walk from elevators to monorail platform. The location of the hotel itself is about as perfect as you can get on the strip, with the Linq Promenade (what I call the "mini-strip") out the door with Yard House, Gordon Ramseys Fish & Chips, the High Roller ferris wheel and best of all, In-and-Out Burger. You are also right next to the outdoor bar Pavilion btw Linq and Harrahs which features live music and also a 5 min walk to Casino Royale, which is a dump, but is a GREAT place to get some $1 Michelobs (Yes, I said ONE DOLLAR BEERS ON THE STRIP) which could be the best kept secret on the strip for getting your drink on quickly. I have no major complaints about this hotel. It isn't upscale, but it was clean and convenient.
