  • Our car broke down on a Sat night and, of course, everything was closed for the day. It was challenging to find a mechanic even open on a Sunday and we couldn't leave the car stranded in a busy parking lot for more then 24 hours. Then we found Your Mechanic on my beloved Yelp! The scheduling process is simple. Go to the Your Mechanic website and fill out the form to get a quote and pick an open time for service. We were fairly certain our serpentine belt had broken and the quote of $116 was a reasonable rate and guaranteed. We were then sent an email with our quote and the name and photo of our mechanic, Michael. Michael called prior to 2 PM on Sunday to let us know he was running ahead of schedule (our appt. was scheduled for 3). We let him know that we lived 30 miles from the location of our car and he patiently waited for us to arrive. In the heat of the parking lot, he quickly and efficiently diagnosed and repaired the belt. It was not until the repair was completed that our card (provided during scheduling) was charged. A receipt is sent to your email. Both Michael and the scheduling/payment process were great! We will definitely use this service again!
