  • I am staying at the Rio for a conference and must say I was really apprehensive about staying here after all the negative reviews. However I have been totally pleasantly surprised! At checkin it was very busy, they opened their VIP lounge and checkiin and the lines really were taken care of quickly. Now for the room. It is huge! Floor to ceiling windows, two vanities with sinks, a bar, coffee maker, It was also very clean. As for the Casino, I'm not a big gamer but it looked exciting and fun. All the staff I have come into contact with jace been friendly and helpful. I've stayed at the Mirage before, and the Rio isn't on that standard, but I didn't judge it the same because the Rio was less than half the cost.
