  • After 3 years of getting the run around from Maricopa Community Colleges we decided to spring for GCU. What a disappointment. They are all Rah rah when you walk in the door and give you financial information and toot their horn. Unfortunately, it was very mis leading. We were promised scholarships, but now that is is time to start school the fast talking nursing counselor (has no nursing experience either) gave us all the bad news about how we were steered wrong and we should have asked for the nursing dept. head, etc., etc. We don't have time to switch schools so the lies we were told will set our family back approximately 20,000!!!!!!! Just because they are a christian school they are all about profit just like any other school out there so make certain you get everything in writing and signed before you get your hopes up.
