The good:
As I was about to leave Vegas my first time there, I ran into the manager of the TOD. We started talking and he gave me his card and told me to call him if I'm ever back in town. At the time I didn't think I'd be back in Vegas, but a year later I was. Called him up and he found an open room for me. Sweet! And $200/week for a hotel room in this city? Unbelievable.
The bad:
The rooms are tiny, but who cares? Staying in a hostel is a unique experience, especially in Las Vegas. This is not a complaint at all.
The ugly:
I never smoke in my room so I go outside. Nothing but shady people doing shady things across the street. I did call the police 3 times while staying here and come to think of it, never saw a cop respond to that location.
