| - This property management should be shut down! We spent over $140 for a professional carpet cleaning a WEEK before we turned in keys. They chose to charge us an insanely exuberant amount of $440 for their version of carpet cleaning claiming that there was pet odor. Well, considering our dog hadn't been IN THE UNIT for 2 weeks BEFORE the carpet cleaning, and stayed out since that time, I'm not sure wht they would make up such a lie and then charge us so much. No REASONABLE carpet cleaning business would charge $440!
On top of that, this newer person who we had to deal with named, "Davie" told my husband and I both in an email that as soon as we had turned in keys, we would get a call from her regarding a walk through. Never received a phone call, and lo and behold they are claiming dog smell....they are money hungry cheapos who never want to actually DO anything!
On that note, we had a work order the first minth we arrived stating that NONE of the 2 bedroom windows would open. They're lame excuse of a maintenance guy says "oh, yah, just shimmy it open! No big deal!" REALLY!? NO BIG DEAL!? How about it being a big deal if we had a break in bc our master bedroom window is located ON THE PORCH! He was CRAZY if he thought we were going to just "shimmy it open"....it was a heavy window and I couldn't do that by myself. But did they ever truly FIX it? Nope.
The deal breaker for us to move was this: the condo complex we lived in had a crazy lady running the HOA and thought it would be BRILLIANT to make everyone pay for their own water inst a ad of the HOA. Fine, but in our lease, water was paid for. When it came time to lease renewal, they said that NOT ONLY would there be a rent hike, but ALSO the water. Money hungry idiots! They were already going to get more just out of rhe rent because they weren't having to pay for the water, but they had to do a stupid rent hike too? Nope, no way. Deal breaker.
If I could gove them less of a rating, I most definitely would. I'm just SO glad we have left that crap hole property management company! I pity those who still have to deal with them.
