  • As long as diners want to eat looking out on a view for hundreds of miles, The Vu will stay open for business. And Heidi, the owner, and some of the staff, very well know this. So their attitude is surly, curt, and the service is awful. Average time to be served is thirty minutes. A party of four visited The Vu last week. Two of us ordered the chicken salad. I specifically requested NO cilantro, because this menu offering clearly states the dish comes with cilantro. Heide wrote this on her order pad. Sure enuf, the chix salad comes loaded with cilantro. I tried to pick it out but it was impossible. I did not return my meal out of social politeness to the others in our party. But when we checked out, I told Heidi about the cilantro. Her response was that there was NO cilantro in the dinner because even tho it is on the menu, they do not use cilantro in any of their food because so many people do not like it. My friend who had the same cilantro-loaded dish just looked at me and rolled her eyes. We will not be returning.
