  • I almost never visit this area but since I had a groupon, I decided to give this place a try. 4 savoury and 4 sweet for something like $21 total with tax. 8 pies is a lot for 2 people. I would say 2 pies can be a meal. We ate it over 2 days. I would say the savoury pies are significantly better than the sweet pies. And this is coming from me, who has a significant sweet tooth. The texture of the dough just doesn't go well with the fillings. I am left with a very dry feeling afterwards. I think my favourite would have to be the guiness meat pie. I can't tell exactly what's inside (that's the nature of pies I guess), but it was damn good. I would say you can't go wrong with any of the savoury ones. We had 4 different ones and all were good. What kills this place is probably the price point. I wouldn't pay $6 for these pies. But not that I come to this area in general anyways.
