If you only do one thing in Toronto - this is it!!!
Simply a blast! Buy your ticket at the base. Ride .the elevator to the first viewing platform The views of the city and Lake Ontario are incredible! We went in the late afternoon so had the wonderful experience of seeing the view in full daylight, watching the sunset and then seeing the lights come on in the city and the tower as evening fell. Stay for dinner at the restaurant to cap off the evening. One of our group did the Edge Walk so we stayed on the first viewing level for most of his walk for live views of the edge walkers outside the tower experiencing the adrenaline rush. Be sure to walk on the glass floor (if you can find a space!) and look down on a Blue Jays game if you are lucky - it really gives perspective!
After his walk we took the even smaller elevator to the top level observatory for a true bird's eye view of the city. It was amazing to see the city stretch around the shores of the lake in an unending march. There are TV screens up at this level to watch the edge walkers.
After enjoying the upper view we went back down to the first stop and had dinner at the restaurant. Its a bit hard to find a table but the view is worth the wait. This is a MUST DO experience in Toronto!!!
TIPS: Can be long lines so be prepared to wait or buy the premier pass to head it off. For us the latter was worth every penny.
