  • Sort of a dive may be an understatement... I guess that there is a detective theme going on in here, from the college dorm James Bond posters and the little Sherlock Holmes painted in the restroom, but for a divey, greasy spoon atmosphere, it's right on. Although, let me be clear, this is no cute, beer signs, lots of character dive... this is a take five steps in the door and as the employee gets up from her table to take my order, seriously consider turning around kind of dive. I went today at lunch time and the place was busy. Fare includes burgers, fries, hot dogs, and ice cream. I had a dog "All The Way" - chili, onions, ketchup with a side of fries. I also love this area of town, and I took my daughter and wife as well, but I can't say it is a great place to take kids and you could probably find something better in the area. It is inexpensive. It is tasty. It isn't worth more than a couple of stars and one visit.
