I am commenting only on the public areas in Aria, I did not stay in the hotel. With the arrival of so many mega-resorts here in Las Vegas, Aria is the first one that I really like the design of. I find all of the biggies like the Wynn, Encore, Bellagio, etc. to be tacky and should I say it? Crudely American. Aria is the first property that manages to have a grand scale that actually works. It is very European in style. It uses motifs of mondrian-esque blocks of stones throughout the property to visually tie in all of the space. And what a great use of space it has. It has many abstract sculptural features and a beautiful muted color scheme. I'll be coming back to spend time here.
