  • Horrible! Events are boring. When I was still undecided about signing up I was told that I could potentially meet my soulmate and that is priceless. I hate myself for believing in that bullshit. I have way more chance to meet someone I would love anywhre but in this group. The fee: 2k$(for a year) + 30$/month + most events still cost money. I am just waiting for adventures now, but they are hard to come by and probably going to cost a fortune. They said to be able to get discount, but after everything you pay, it is more economical to go alone. Socializing with other members? Let's just say I am not in the same age group as them. Finally, refund policy is crap. You lose all the sign up fee for an event (yes, you have to pay once you sign up) if you miss the cancelation deadline. And believe me, this will happen a lot because life happens. Remember, you cannot buy friends. There are other free services for meetup.
