  • I must be part rat because I LOVE me some cheese. Grilled cheese, mac'n'cheese, grits with cheese, cheese sand, cheese on a burger, cheese fries, veggie chili and wit cheese, on a salad, with apples, with carrot slices, spinach and CHEESE dip, cream cheese, hard, soft or fumy cheese, on a taco, as a snack, on a charcuterie platter, cheese melted on top of veggies, did someone say fondue, omelet, stuffed bell pepper, casserole, shepherds pie, rito, eggs and cheese croissant, fried, died or laid to the side I am your girl. That said I think you get the gest. So when my sis-n-law said she wanted to take us to this cheese shop I was ON BOARD! This place is located right around the Capitol so parking can be a premium at times. Once parked we walked in and BAM I was hit was the WONDERFUL SMALL of cheese. This shop is JAM PACKED with all things cheese and accoutrements that have to do with cheese. Its a bit of a one stop shop and you can even get a sand made for lunch. If that does not float your boat you can put together a little picnic because they sale everything from olives, mini pickles, fresh sliced meats, crackers, jams, chocolates etc., including all the knives to cut or spread the cheese and jams. They also have cutting boards, decorative items, some bottled beers, wines and non-alcoholic drinks as well, and things of that nature, as well as, gift sets for people. IT'S AMAZING! I LOST MY MIND in this shop. A HUGE VARIETY of cheese is GREAT and they will let you try a selection before buying. We ended up getting a little of this and that to take back with us to the house. Wisconsin cheeses as well as of country cheeses to delight your senses. There is a high probability you WILL FIND SOMETHING you like. Being one of the ONLY cheese shops in the area they get a lot of business. This is a definite MUST STOP for cheese lovers or even if you just want a NICE FRESH sand for lunch.
