| - I have been back to Atlanta for four days and I am still thinking of this place, is that sad?
Oh a whim, my girlfriend and I, another serious seafood lover, decided to make the trek to Oyster Bar with about an hour before we were supposed to arrive at the airport. It was 7am, but the craving was strong, and I am SO GLAD we did it!
Follow the signs to "restaurants" when you arrive and just keep walking and you'll see the distinct Oyster Bar. There were about 8 open seats when we arrived and I'm now a firm believer that if you want to dine here without waiting the 2-3 hours in the evening, it's absolutely the smartest decision to get yourself out of bed to get this incredible seafood for breakfast.
We asked the manager and the chef to rush our meals after we explained our situation and they were incredibly accommodating, even going as far as packaging our food and joking to us with smiles. I ordered a half dozen oysters on their morning special - $10; and we both tried the Combo Pan Roast: SHRIMP, CRAB, AND LOBSTER for $23.99. Like literally ohmygosh, this is so delicious. The pan roasts are the way to go: they are cooked in front of you, the smell is intoxicating, and when it arrives it is hot and steamy. Following the advice of the reviewers, I ordered a spice level 5 and it was perfect -- a bit of a kick but not too spicy.
The service here is fantastic, the food here is fantastic, not sure why it took me so long to try this place but I will definitely come back every trip to Vegas from now on. MUST TRY!!!!
