I went in a few minutes after they opened for dinner to avoid the rush hour and thankfully, it was empty. Ordered the okonomiyaki with soba noodles and cheese while sitting at the bar to watch the chef make the dish right in front of me. The dish was huge!
The taste of cheese was very faint, but the cabbage mixed with the batter and cheese throughout provided an excellent base for the noodles, which were tender yet slightly crunchy in some areas. It wasn't mind-blowing since I'm Japanese and am accustomed to yakisoba, but the entire dish tasted delicious nonetheless. The waiter was extremely attentive and courteous as well, and he did the finishing touches on my dish with the mayo, seaweed powder, and bonito flakes, which really did look alive as they swayed in front of me.
All in all, I would definitely go back and order other dishes off the menu despite this being a bit far from my university!
