  • Overall, we had a great time visiting the fair including the animal exhibits, rides, and eating a variety of fair food. However, We were extremely disappointed that we weren't allowed admittance to the Monster Truck and Tranasauras and Jet Powered Smart Car show after we raced across the fairgrounds in 97 degree heat with our 3 kids. We arrived 5 minutes after the show had started and were informed that the show was closed and we had better turn away unless we wanted security called. It was surprising that the staffer was so abrupt, unprofessional and harsh with our family. I couldn't understand why we were being turned away since there was plenty of seating still available. The fair is a very costly endeavor and unfortunately this encounter left a bad taste in our mouth after an otherwise fun family outing.
