  • My inside remote was going in and out so I place a call to Garage Door Services Co. Who installed my new garage unit 11 months prior. They informed me that they would come out the same day at 6 pm. However, after waiting for an hour I get a call from them indicating that their unable to come out tonight and that I needed to reschedule. So I schedule for two days later and the Garage Door Service rep indicated that he was going to way the service call fee. Sounds good right! Tech shows up and replaces the flimsy plastic inside remote within 10 minutes and says that will be $89.99. I tried several times to explain to the tech that one of the reps waive my service fee he was unsure so he called it in but no would not honor it because it was made by the another department of Garage Door Services. I called back to the department that scheduled my appointment and they also didn't stand behind their word. BUYER BEWARE! they used cheap plastic parts so that when they go bad and they will, they can get you to pay $89.00 just to come out.
