Unique things about the shopping area, the Italian canal, the Italian facades of the stores, Gondola rides, the street performers like the costumed opera singers and street performers. The thing that weirded me out were the living statues around St. Mark's Square and the Oculus. I would wait for them to jump down and scare me!
