rev:text	A friend recommended this place.. so we gave it a try last night. No on greeted us so we sat ourselves.. Wait staff breezed by us numerous times, no recognition ... after about 15 minutes a lady with a German Accent came by, offered us Menus, then disappeared.. She stopped by the table about 10 minutes later, offered to take our orders. She was very friendly, offered to bring us a sample of the Stew and Meatballs.. A young man came to the table dropped off 2 deep fried perogis for a sample.. finally after another long wait the sample of stew arrived, the lady apologized it was in the window no on had brought it too us.. My husband decided on the Hash topped with a fried egg $14.95, I went with the house recommendation Pork Schnitzel Cordon Blue $17.95 .. the entree comes with three salad sides and potato choice I ordered Potato Dumpling, Sauerkraut, Beets and Green Salad, Husband had Sauerkraut, Beets, Potato Salad. About 10 minutes later a young man came to the table they were out of the Polish Potato Dumpling !!! WHAT ? I changed to couscous ( at a Scandinavian Restaurant with Schnitzel ?) Food took a while, husbands hash came out first, huge serving of diced potato sprinkled with a tiny bit of minced hash.. topped with a cold rubbery egg. My food arrived about 5 minutes later. We began to eat.. Blah way over priced, $14.95 for 1 stinking egg and potato, my cordon bleu was less than stellar.. Thin slice pork with a tiniest bit of ham lunch meat I mean tiny I had to search for it. I ate the Schnitzel .. let the sided.. Everything is straight out of a can. Cold canned Sauerkraut, Pickled Beets your average grocery store variety, potato salad was okay but nothing Scandinavian about it potatoes and mayo.. Salad was some iceberg lettuce a few cucumber slices.. We spent over $30 for below average food.. The lady waiting in us turned out to be the owner, after placing our order we never saw her again, no one really gave any type of service .. The owner kept bragging how she is featured on the food channel.. hum? This place is pricey for what you get. We will not be returning anytime soon. If you like canned sauerkraut, green beans and beets stay home and save yourself some money.
